The Culinary Institute of America has been setting the standard for excellence in
culinary education for more than half a century. Whether working in foodservice, research and development,
at magazines, or on television, our graduates are realizing their dreams. Our students not only learn how
to tantalize the taste buds, but how to think creatively, problem-solve, and manage others.
CIA students benefit from an extraordinary culinary learning environment, featuring 41 kitchens and
bakeshops; five student-staffed, award-winning public restaurants; two culinary demonstration theaters; a
72,000-volume library; a wireless network; and much more. More than 90 percent of CIA students receive
financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and Federal Work-study.
