About Telecommunications Degree
The specific goals of graduate study are: Knowledge of history, theory, research, genres, and practice
of technical communication; Knowledge of principles and techniques in the field; and Development of
effectiveness in technical communication. The degree in telecommunications prepare students for
successful professional careers in a global economy in the midst of rapid technological change.
The program will provide a strong foundation in the technical and non-technical aspects of emerging
telecommunications technologies, develop skills to work effectively with the Internet and to create
