Loyola University New Orleans is a Catholic institution that emphasizes the
Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person. It is open to students of
all faiths. Loyola is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United
States. Its rich history and Jesuit influence date back to the early 18th
century when the Jesuits first arrived among the earliest settlers in New
Orleans.
Loyola University New Orleans has been educating Nurses
for over 25 years and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a
Commission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools*, to award
bachelor, master, and doctor (juris doctor) degrees.
