Founded in 1971, Empire State College, is one of the university’s 13
colleges of arts and sciences, accredited by the Middle
States Association of Colleges and Schools.
The college offers very flexible programs, including distance
education for traditional and non-traditional students. Empire
State is primarily oriented towards the adult learner.
Many of
the undergraduate degrees offered by Empire State College
are "individualized" as opposed to the more traditional degree
programs. We are uniquely designed to serve adults pursing
associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
